The number of pre-registrations for the 2024 Xiamen Marathon exceeded 136,000, coming from 36 countries and regions. A total of 30,000 runners gathered in Ludao, and 2,347 runners ran under three hours, creating the highest number in the history of the Xiamen Marathon.
Since the first event in 2003, the Xiamen Marathon has been held for 22 consecutive years, with nearly one million runners participating, using the spirit and speed of the special zone to convey the charm of the "marathon city" to the world.
